Superior Solitude is smoke Free!

Personally, I don't like a lot of rules but we feel it is necessary that we communicate with each other so that there are no misunderstandings. We want you to enjoy our place, we want you to come back again and again. Please understand that these rules help insure that you will have a great vacation at our place.

Once we receive your deposit, you will receive an email confirmation– reservations will not be considered firm without a deposit. The balance of your payment is due before arrival. In regard to deposit and balance, I will bill you in each case----very simple.

Cancellation/Transfer policy

If you do need to cancel your reservation for any reason, please notify us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to re-rent the property. If the property is re-rented for the same period of time, all monies will be returned. If, after diligent effort, we are unable to re-rent the property, any advance payment will be forfeited. But if you need to cancel, let's talk and see what we can do.

Cancellations due to weather will receive no refunds or rebates

Check-in
Check-in is at 3pm.

Check Out
Check out is at 10am. Please be sure to carefully read any check out instructions  posted in the home.

Early Check-ins/Late Departures
Need to be arranged in advance and are not always possible.

Keys
There is a $25 charge for keys not returned.

Trash
In our rural area, weekly trash pickup is not available. Therefore, we request that our guests remove the trash from the property upon check out. Take the trash  to Hanson's Hardware in Lutsen and go left up the hill to the trash bin, it's the honor system in the pay box at the bin.  Please do leave trash at our property upon leaving.

Pets
There is no fee per stay for every pet. Any pet damage will be charged back to renters.

Maintenance
Every effort is made to keep our property and its equipment in good working order. Please notify us of any difficulty you experience during your stay as soon as possible so repairs can be made in a timely manner.

Maximum Occupancy
The maximum occupancy of our home is four. Children under 2 do not count toward maximum occupancy. However, if you have more call me and we can talk about it.

House Parties
House parties are strictly forbidden. We want to keep our place as nice as it is and house parties can tend to deteriorate a property and therefore not allowed.

Housekeeping
Our home is furnished with bed linens, towels, bath and kitchen amenities. Homes are thoroughly cleaned and inspected after check out only.

Damages
Renters will be responsible for any damages.
